To minimize your encounters with these pests, pick a campsite that’s away from water sources and heavy vegetation. A little extra distance can make a big difference in your comfort level!

Dress to Protect

While it’s tempting to lounge around in shorts and T-shirts during warm weather, minimal clothing leaves you exposed to and at risk for insect bites. When bugs are most active, such as during evening hours, opt for long-sleeve shirts and pants. Maintain Your Screens

Your RV’s window and vent screens are your first line of defense against bugs. Check for any holes or tears in screens and repair or replace them as needed. Use Bug Repellent
